If there were no super delegates, Sanders could still have a shot at the nomination. However, Clinton’s lead only increases thanks to the fact she’s secured 469 of the 700 super delegates compared to Sander’s 31. The problem with super delegates is they can choose whoever they want to align themselves with, therefore there is no process in dividing them up among candidates.
